Hi: I studied physics and worked in engineering and electronics but my enthusiasm has always been for music. I play clarinet and from time to time tenor saxophone. I was disappointed in the way music is taught in many places so I decided to bring a more analytical approach from my science and engineering experience.
My first title was ‘The Circle of Fifths: visual tools for musicians’ in which I brought forward the importance of the visual memory in the learning process. This was followed by a series of WorkBooks where the teaching in the first book can be tested and re-inforced.
I continue to write about different aspects of music theory and after publishing so many books as an Indie author, I now coach other Indie authors to help them carry out minor editing functions to their eBooks themselves, rapidly and effectively.
